Shop, Field, and Operations Support
Equipment Ratings and Certification
Occupational Health and Safety requires that equipment be provided ratings to ensure that the users of the equipment understand the limits of the equipment to keep the public protected. These ratings are required for all equipment used in shop and field environments. If you have custom equipment, shop stands, pipe racks, metal racks, overhead cranes or lifting lugs that need ratings, we can measure, analyze, and provide you with the appropriate ratings.
Damage Assessment and Recertification
During operations or transport if there is an incident where a piece of equipment is damaged, you may not have the opportunity to take your equipment into a shop to be repaired. If you need to evaluate the extent of damage to see if a field repair can be made, we can come to you site, and perform that evaluation. If the repair can be made in the field, after the repair has been completed and has been inspected, we can provide you with a repair certification indicating that the equipment can be safely returned into service either with the full ratings, or with temporarily reduced ratings.
Upgrades and Modifications
After a piece of equipment has been in the field for a period of time, there are some instances where operations requires modifications to simplify or enhance production, or to increase safety. We can help to ensure that modifications meet both the new operational needs and engineering requirements and standards. We have experience with small and large upgrades and modifications, and we can help you with yours.
Cranes and Support Equipment
If you have specialized equipment, and you need to have something designed to suit your needs, we can help using our computer modelling and analysis tools and our field and manufacturing experience. We can make sure that your concept is designed to meet your operational needs and withstand your working environment.
